Easy Scones

Super -easy scones - using a food processor to do all the work, and a mug to measure instead of weighing scales.
My first attempt at filming a recipe in a looooong time (For those who've been asking, this is why I won't be doing Zoom baking classes anytime soon!!)
Anyways, I hope you find it useful!
Here's video part one and here's video part two
The Recipe goes like this:
In a food processor with the blade attachment put:
2 mugfuls of self raising flour
1 heaped teaspoon baking powder
1 scant level teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons caster sugar
a large tablespoon/50g cold butter
Blitz until you have a sandy/breadcrumb consistency.
Add 1 mugful milk - pulse until the dough comes together.
Tip out of the food processor onto a floured surface.
Gently press together and roll out to about 8cm thick.
Cut circles - you'll get about 8 small scones from this recipe.
Brush with beaten egg.
Bake on a baking-paper lined tray for 15 minutes at 200 degrees C until golden brown and well risen.
